What is Mature Living Designs, LLC?

Mature Living Designs, LLC is dedicated to providing personal evaluations of individual's likes and needs in their home. We pride ourselves in recommending creative ideas and solutions that allow our clients to live safely and comfortably in their own home for life.

Our staff of Certified Aging-in-Place Specialists (CAPS) are ready to assist you in evaluating what is best for you and your family. In addition to the CAPS designation, our staff is also a Certified Green professional (CGP) to provide the most efficient and environmentally conscience solutions for your home modifications.

What is a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS)?

The Remodelors™ Council of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) in collaboration with the NAHB Research Center, NAHB Seniors Housing Council, and the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) developed this program to address the growing number of consumers that will soon require these modifications.

A Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) has been trained in:

• the unique needs of the older adult population;

• aging-in-place home modifications;

• common remodeling projects;

• solutions to common barriers.

What is a Certified Green Professional (CGP)?

The NAHB's Certified Green Professional™ (CGP) designation recognizes builders, remodelers and other industry professionals who incorporate green building principles into homes— without driving up the cost of construction. As a CGP, our staff has learned how green homes provide owners with lower energy costs and higher value and incorporate green-building principles into homes without driving up the cost of construction. Green homes provide owners with lower maintenance, better indoor air quality and better long-term value.
